Got the day off and it's awesome weather outside, so I'll go on a snow-shoe trekking tour up the mountain, starting at 800m and up to around 2.200m

Yesterday, it snowed quite heavily and it seems there's 1 foot of fresh powder snow starting at around 1.500 meters. Great conditions for snow-shoeing.

Maybe I'll post some pictures later.

My left ear has become numb. I only hear about 50% of the right ear.

Probably check the doctor tomorrow if it doesn't go away. I think I had this once but it went away overnight. I guess there's an enormous amount of earwax in it that's clogging it, which I cannot get rid of because it's too deep in the ear.

Don't use Q-tips. Try running hot water down your ears in the shower.

I didn't.

I went to the doc today and he removed all the ear-wax from inside, by pumping high-speed warm water into my ears. You guys don't even know what amount of ear-wax can be inside the ears ... Tongue

Now my ears are fine again.

Good thing today: I got my new e-bike.

Bad thing today: My sister was involved in a car accident, a truck hit the car on the side with my nieces inside. Thankfully it was a minor-ish crash and they are all fine. But the car is a "total-damage" insurance-wise.

Because we had a public holiday today, I spent 3 hours hiking the cold, moist woods in the morning (awesome !) and in the afternoon I went on a mountainbike tour into a local mountain valley together with my brother and nephew. When we were driving out of the valley, my 10-year old nephew hit a stone "the bad way" and crashed with about 20 mph. Thank goodness he fell "the right way" and only got some bruises to his knee (when I saw him crash, I actually thought his leg was broken or something and the bike a total damage). His bike turned out to be just slightly damaged, but we were able to drive back home after some first aid. These unpaved gravel valley roads are extremely nasty sometimes, especially if you apply the front break too much ...

Woah, that was a really nice tour. And my new e-mountainbike works just fine.

You start at 700m altitude and drive up to 2.200m (1.5 miles) and you still have 50% battery left.

I'd advice every one of you guys to buy an e-mountainbike ... it's awesome Wink

Getting ready for a major mountainbike tour with my uncle, up to a mountain reservoir.

We need to start early, because we are in the midst of a 2-week long heat wave with temps approaching some 95-100°F (35°C) today ...

A guy from my TV operator called me today and said that I can test 30 additional TV programs for the next 2 weeks, including some porn channels such as Brazzers TV HD, Hustler, Playboy or Vivid. Those can be activated with a PIN-code after 10pm and can be watched until 5am ...

I'll go on a mountainbike tour now and collect a lot of blueberries and mushrooms.

I'll visit my mum tomorrow and she'll make a great blueberry cake and mushroom gulash with dumplings out of it. Can't wait for this stuff, because I'm not a great cook myself ...

The economy is really booming here right now and I also notice it in the company: We have so many orders and exports like never before. As I'm in accounting and logistics, I know when the economy picks up speed.

For example, I had to send stuff for 30.000€ to the Stockholm suburbs yesterday (Scandinavia is particularly a strong market for us right now).

More employees are hired. The metal/steel union (which also represents me) wants at least a 4%+ wage hike this year ... the highest wage gain since 2012.
