Yes, a woman who is a regular customer where I work. Surprised me as she comes across as someone who I would have thought was liberal (compassionate/generous, etc.).

Um, of course, I know people on the other side, and I would expect everyone here (except BRTD) to have at least one friend on the other side.

One co-worker of mine actually, though claims to have written-in "Chuck Norris", not that I blame him...my town might well be the absolute worst city in the entire nation to support Trump.

The people who go to my church mostly voted for Trump, although only a few of them actually like him.

That would be an instant disqualifier for any church I'd ever go to.

Voted Hillary, haven't met any Trump supporters that I know of but I don't really discuss politics outside of internet/immediate family.

Since none of my friends can vote, it depends how you define it.

Yeah, we've talked about the election also. Despite going to school in California, there were a lot more opportunities to than I expected.

Among the people I know who I’ve actually talked to in person (online communication is a different story) since the election, the only one who I’ve talked politics with who I might have guessed would have voted Trump ended up going with Johnson.  But I’ve certainly met with some folks who I simply don’t talk politics with who might have voted Trump.  It’s just not a subject that comes up with everyone I know.

Granted, my personal life is in limbo at the moment as I’ve recently returned to MN after a long time living in Australia, and many of the people I used to know here are gone.  So I’ve mostly just socialized with people in my family.  Depending on what happens on the job front, I may well move to some other part of the country in the near future, so I haven’t really been working on my social life since I got back.

Yes, since most of my friends are democrats, I obviously know and converse with Hillary supporters.

If you live in a very liberal area, don't have any relatives in America, and are too socially anxious to spend time with people outside of your pre-existing social circles, it's very possible.

Because understanding how other human beings think and feel is the only way I can hope to become a better person.

Also, in liberal circles, the few Trump supporters tend to be more reasonable, like the woman I mentioned in the OP.
