Hillary would have definitely beat Cruz... Many Trump voters in NC... who despise Hillary... said they would still vote for her over Cruz (females esp seemed to be of this mindset).

Any chance he could have a tough re-election fight?

FWIW   ...   The Republican women & Obama-Trump women in my family (rural eastern NC)... voted for Trump... but said they would never vote for Cruz.

Rumors have it that Cruz slapped down offers from Bannon for Scalia's seat. Regardless of if that is even true it is Clear Cruz wants to run for president again.

Well, a while ago I suggested this as the best possible outcome for Cruz. He is a talented jurist and would make a great Supreme Court Justice.
