Correction: Mike Pence will be the 46th President after Orange Führer gets his ass impeached. Can't tell you when but could happen anytime.

Hillary would have definitely beat Cruz... Many Trump voters in NC... who despise Hillary... said they would still vote for her over Cruz (females esp seemed to be of this mindset).

Any chance he could have a tough re-election fight?

Republican women love Ted Cruz but they hate Trump sure liberal women also hate Cruz but most of the women in North Caronlina are Republicans and Republican women came out in droves for Ted Cruz during the primaries he also was only 4 point behind Trump in North Carolina

FWIW   ...   The Republican women & Obama-Trump women in my family (rural eastern NC)... voted for Trump... but said they would never vote for Cruz.

Lyin' Ted as President?

He can win the primary but unless the Democrat has major scandals it is difficult to win the EC by doing well in the rust-belt !

I'm sure you were laughing at the idea of Trump becoming president as well

This line of reasoning is getting really old really fast.

You don't think [insert literally anyone's name here] will become President in 2020? I bet you thought Trump wouldn't become President.

What a super original argument pal.

I feel reasonably secure in the idea that Trump will be succeeded by a Democrat.

Ted Cruz has a literal zero percent chance of ever being President. I put even West Virginia miner guy a decimal above him.

Either a Democrat or Mike Pence, I would say. The latter not by election.

Rumors have it that Cruz slapped down offers from Bannon for Scalia's seat. Regardless of if that is even true it is Clear Cruz wants to run for president again.

Thank god he would have been more extreme than Scalia & Thomas for liberals. He will run multiple times given how power hungry he is.

Well, a while ago I suggested this as the best possible outcome for Cruz. He is a talented jurist and would make a great Supreme Court Justice.
