Donald J. Trump‏ @realDonaldTrump
.@NBCNews is bad but Saturday Night Live is the worst of NBC. Not funny, cast is terrible, always a complete hit job. Really bad television!

C'mon Trumpy. You need a sense of humour.

If you are going to appeal as a populist to the court of public opinion, then you need to take all viewpoints on board.

he's right about SNL. Even the Bill Murray era was horribly overrated. Even Mad TV was better.

Can he tell the difference between NBCNews and SNL?

It says a lot that the President-elect is whining about comedy shows.

Actually, SNL has been very good this year.  The cast is WAY too big and perhaps most of those people suck, but the writing has been terrific and the top cast members are more than good enough to make it work.  Keenan and Leslie Jones are both great as are several of the white chicks whose names escape me.

Not everything is one or the other, genius. Leslie Jones is objectively the funniest cast member.

SNL is going to drive him into the mental institution. He clearly has some serious emotional problems.

It's strange how running for President can change people, and inflate their egos.  Before Trump started his then-quixotic bid in July 2015, he seemed to have a much thicker skin, like he didn't take himself so seriously and rolled with the jokes that were made at him.

Now......

not really, no.  But that doesn't mean I can't laugh with him when he trolls the mental midgets that make up the faculty and students at our nations finer universities.

Now......

Anecdotally, Anthony Jeselnik said Trump personally thanked all the comedians at his Comedy Central roast and told Jeselnik how much he enjoyed the experience.

Note that the punchline of one of Jeselnik's main jokes was "nobody will be sad when you die of cancer."

He definitely used to have much thicker skin, to his credit.

A roast is not something that happens week in and week out, plus everyone knows you're exaggerating the roastee's bad points rather than describing them.
