If President Donald Trump wins the 2020 GOP renomination and his 2020 reelection, based on his actions over the past 4 years, by with winning the popular vote and the Electoral College, how will you feel?

With the growth of Latinos in reapportionment and Democratic Govs in NV, FL, CA and CO, I don't see a realistic path for Trump to win the presidency again.

It will obviously depend on what he does during his first term, but probably

And probably laugh at Atlas for getting it wrong once again.

-Same.

-Give Florida to HRC. Trump still wins.

It will depend but it will most likely be.

I am much more likely to delay my early retirement in such a case since whatever marginal tax rate cuts Trump and the GOP congress will be able to implement will stay for at least another 4 years.

It won't be too shocking. I would be surprised if the race was within single digits.

Its not a matter of just tax cuts, immigration reform has to take place and if there isn't no real answer to illegal immigration, Latinos will vote for the Democratic candidate nevertheless and result in a Democratic victory.

Yeah, 2016, was an upset, but it was about ethics and Bernie Sanders would have won, if the FBI indicted Clinton and she dropped out of the race.

WTF? I don't see a way the race is a double digit win either way, unless Trump implodes. Half the country already hates Trump, and I mean HATES him, so good luck with him winning by ten or more.

He could win by 10% if the economy is good.

This is what a ten-twelve point wins looks like:

384: President Donald Trump/Vice President Mike Pence - 50.0%
154: Senator Elizabeth Warren/Mayor Bill De Blasio - 39.5%
Robert Sarvis/Austin Petersen - 6.3%
Others - 4.2%

Even more ashamed of this country, and even more convinced that most voters don't care about much anything other than "sending a message."

If Trump has more than one appointment to the Supreme Court and if his appointees turn out to be outstanding, then I'll be very surprised, I'll support him, and I'll be glad if he wins. But it is extremely unlikely that he'll appoint any truly objective interpreters of the law to the Court. That being the case, if he wins again, I'll continue to feel as much dread as I have been feeling for the past 16 years.

The Supreme Court has had nothing but mediocrities on it for the last 45 years, and Trump is almost certainly going to continue the Court on the same path of mediocrity.

It depends.

Did he have a relatively successful and stable first term? If so, disappointed but not sh**tting my pants like I was when he first won election.

Was his first term a disaster and worse than everything I imagined it would be? If so, I'd be genuinely fearful for my country and the direction it's heading in politically.

I think Ginsburg, Breyer, and Kennedy can hang on for four more years, but it's really hard for me to see them lasting eight.  So, if Trump wins reelection, liberals would lose the Supreme Court for at least two generations, maybe three.

The stakes are huge.  The soul of the country may be on the line.

And that's not even mentioning the seismic changes Trump (or whichever Republican replaces him) would wreak on the composition of the lower courts throughout the judiciary branch.  It may soon get to the point that if you want to get anywhere in law, you would need to become a member of the Federalist Society.

Tired and disappointed that the Dems screwed it up or the media went into the tank for him, but then somewhat elated as I remember what happened to Dubya right after and what happened to Congressional Republicans in the midterm.

Wouldn't be surprised if I left the party altogether at that point even with that hope.

-Despite the recession, Bush's party suffered fewer losses during his presidency than Obama's.

*sigh* this is the same kind of thinking that caused us to lose in 2016. Let's bank again on the Latino vote to come out and vote in massive numbers all because Trump said mean things and built a wall. The party has to offer a message other than Trump is bad/mean/evil/offensive/fascist/racist/sexist/homophobic/xenophobic/Islamophobic/etc.; otherwise, he'll be reelected.

Also, what makes you so certain that those four states are going to elect Democratic governors in 2018? California will probably stay blue, whereas the other three can go either way.
