^ On a list of things that will definitely happen, that one is super up there.

For the record, O'Keefe deliberately distorts, alters, and edits his films to falsely incriminate people. He is a malicious liar, and an unskilled one at that. If you're either dumb enough or so desperate to have your beliefs validated to give him the attention he wants, I'm sorry for you m9.

Lots of people getting mixing up James O'Keefe and the Washington Post
Lol I. And that line got old pretty fast
True though isn't it.

Smart! Hopefully they dust the tapes. Always good to have O'Keefe's fingerprints on file.

There's a difference between getting a prediction wrong (what much of the mainstream news did in underestimating Trump/thinking Hillary was going to win) and deliberately distorting/misreporting what has already happened and trying to pass that off as news.

Simple guide:

News reporter on 9/10/01: "I think tomorrow will be a fairly typical day." -> Incorrect prediction, but not fake news

News reporter on 9/12/01: "What happened yesterday was an elaborate publicity stunt by Insane Clown Posse." -> Fake News

The Washington Post has done the latter repeatedly during this election and transition period. Lets give one example where they were particularly closely involved. I've mentioned this particular case before but I'll mention it again. You'll remember the Michelle Fields assault hoax (the most recent one that is, Fields is a repeat offender when it comes to hoaxing assaults on herself). Fields, then working for Breitbart (happily they were rid of this con artist shortly afterwards) was at a Donald Trump press conference in Florida. According to her account she was asking a question of Trump when she was subject to a vicious and unprovoked assault by Trump's then campaign manager Cory Lewendowski.

Now hotel security footage released by Trump after being shared with police revealed clearly that her account of events was bunk and charges against Lewendowski were dropped. Now before this footage was released one Youtuber did some investigation of the case and in particular the role of Washington Post journalists Ben Terris and Jabin Botsford in perpetuating a hoax

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4B6K7iiV_zk

I would recommend that people have a look at the evidence presented in the above video and then think about the fact that the Washington Post maintain to this day that their original account was accurate. Then draw your own conclusions.

This replies above are much more refreshingly honest. I don't agree with those who approve of domestic terrorism but it shows an unusual honesty to admit such approval.

I'm a little surprised here at Alex. A socialist from Greece. His country is famous for its hardcore AntiFa terrorists. And yet here he is trying to hide AntiFa's light under a bushel.

Some more of the context of antifa talking about throat punching after the excuse was made that it was just 'a joke'

https://twitter.com/Project_Veritas/status/822207912646938624

Doesn't sound like a joke to me when its put in context.

The far left have always been the most violent and thuggish part of the political spectrum. The thinking described in the video embedded in the above tweet, where the speaker advocates and justifies the use of violence by antifa and makes explicitly clear that he is not joking, is typical of antifa thinking.

You should never say something like "have always been".  Obviously there are times and places where right wing partisan thugs were the more violent.  Perhaps you can argue there has been more left political violence in the west since WWII and be generally factually correct, but it really depends on how you define sh**t and if you're biased you can bend the numbers pretty easy to suit whatever conclusion you want.

This isn't like Islamic violence vs non-Islamic religious violence where the numbers are ridiculously one sided and even an extremely biased person can't fudge the numbers enough to fit their preconceived notions, which is why they have to resort to lesser debating tactics when it's mentioned.

Really? When? Even in Weimar Germany the partisan thugs of the far left caused more violence than the partisan thugs of the far right. I would also make the point that one of the main arguments the Nazis used to gain votes is that they would deal with the threat of communist and far left violence. Without the problem of far left thuggery the Nazis would never have gained power and the second world war would have been avoided.

Nothing necessarily wrong with 'Democrats and dissenters'. The people who are organising and carrying out violence and criminal damage at the Inauguration events are neither regular Democrat party supporters not dissenting free thinkers. They are communism and anarchists by their own admission.

Yes the far left has always engaged in much more disorganized thuggery and terrorism, but the far right has had their share of governments do it for them.
