I think some kind of connection to Obi Wan is most likely. I'm not a super die-hard fan, so there might be some info that I'm missing, but there's a big enough gap in Obi Wan's life story that it would be pretty easy to imagine him having kids that wouldn't be mentioned at another point in the story. Plus, the director specifically included a clip of Alec Guiness as Obi Wan saying "Rey" for Force Awakens, which they probably wouldn't do unless they were trying to highlight something.

No clue. I'd kind of like the idea that her connection with the main characters (which of course she has) is not biological, but we'll see.

Probably Luke's kid, if the interaction at the end of Ep. VII meant anything.

The big connection she had with Anakin's Old/Luke's First lightsaber would mean much less if she were related to Obi-Wan or Leia.

Also, she kinda looks like Padme.

It'd be a disappointment if this weren't so.

Her being Luke's daughter seems a bit too obvious. Perhaps she has some relation to Obi Wan, though I'm not sure how that would work.

I'd be pissed off by any attempt to give the force more random abilities. Force-based virgin birth was cringeworthy enough already.

Gut tells me she's the daughter of Han and Leia.

Either way, it's pretty damn obvious that Kylo is the one who took her to Jakku. He slaughtered everyone at Luke's temple with the Knights of Ren, but couldn't bring himself to kill his little sister. Now, she is a walking testament to his failure, which is why she always seemed to rattle him so much in TFA.

Has to be something like that, right?
