I wasn't sure where else to put this, but Trump's official portrait is out now in case anyone was wondering.

Just saw it on Wikipedia. The portrait itsself is ugly. Particularly because he's not smiling.

This makes me somehow... repulsed. Everything in this picture screams aggression, meanness and stress, just like Trump's rallies. His orangeness doesn't help.

No more nice nice. He's a alpha male. We had too much beta males. It's probably time for sternness.

Spoken like a true cuck

I don't agree with him on everything, but the pendulum swings. We need a tough person there right now. It's the truth.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. This is not a time for party and rah-rah.

Melania looking a little like Claire Underwood right now.

That's kind of true.
Also, why is this whole thing so fanatically religious? I now wish more than before that atheist Jewish Bernie would've been elected. Sure, I dislike his foreign and trade policy, but the inaguration would've been sweet.

People still have faith in this country. Not everyone believes that Big Government is God.

The Obama era is over. Good man, bad people around him.

It was an okay speech. These are serious times. That is why it was so short.

He also hasn't much of substance to say.

But thanks again for the spin.

These are serious national security times.

Can you kindly elaborate WHY is it any more serious than any other year?
Seriously. There were some very good speeches, and politicians with human decency even when America's existence was in danger, world wars raged and the economy was in a horrible shape.

There is a feeling in America that America is too forgiving of nations that have lied to us in recent years.

His speech was basically an airing of the grievances of rural America

What he said is what I've heard thousands of times while driving through rural America

In some ways its said because Trump really won't be able to make their lives better

Correct.

If Austria is an example, there's some potential for Trump to f**k things up really badly and enable a Democratic comeback in 2018 and 2020.

If rural voters get a grasp of the corruption and inefficiency in the next years, similar to our right-wing government after 2000, they might wipe Trump and Republicans out in these years, especially if Trump fails to deliver for rural voters ...

But Democrats should not implode themselves and certainly shouldn't nominate Hillary again. Ever.

Poor lady. Her time was probably truly 2004. She could have beaten W/Cheney/Rove.

It's time to simply move on. Obama is a good man, but he had questionable people around him. That ends, today.

DC looks and sounds like a third world country on NBC right now.

I want to know who are these anarchists? What's the end game?

The Hopey Changey Lib Kids are rioting now.......very effective.  Roll Eyes

It's funny how you guys object to being lumped in with the most extreme Trump supporters (the KKK, etc.) and yet are doing the same thing to those on the left. These people don't represent Democrats any more than the White supremacists represent all Trump supporters.
Please explain why there is a riot whenever liberals don't get what they want. Trump supporters and tea party never came close to this crap

Nobody was injured and no property was damaged, eh?

Meanwhile, violent leftists are burning trash in the streets, destroyed a starbucks, and injured at least 3 of our excellent police. 95 arrests thus far.

You must of forgot when Timothy McVeigh was so pissed at Clinton that he blew up an entire building you right wing dolt

Both sides do it. There is right wing terrorism and left wing terrorism. Period.
