Good for them. Hopefully more join them.

THIS is how we need to oppose president-elect Pussygrabber. This is a small part of what refusal to normalize needs to look like at the highest levels of government.

The Trump-cult wanted to end business as usual in DC. Congratulations to them, they've got it.

Everyone should attend just to show respect for the institution and the peaceful transfer of power.  I'm glad Hillary is going.  The Presidency is much bigger than Trump and will exist long after he is gone.

[Scene from the inaugural podium]

CHIEF JUSTICE JOHN ROBERTS: "Do you, Donald John Trump, solemnly..."

DONALD TRUMP: "I, DONALD JOHN TRUMP ... *grabs phone and suddenly tweets* "THESE DEMOCRATS ARE SAD! NO CLASS! THEY WON'T ATTEND MY INAUGURAL!" solemnly swear ..."

A lot of these joined the boycott after Trump vilified Rep. John Lewis, a respected civil rights icon by any measure except to the alt-right.

Sadly, my congressman, David Schweikert is nowhere near this list.

He's not a Democrat, but I still got my hopes up.

Their loss.

But can some Democrat apologist tell me why Congressman Lewis said he never missed an inauguration before, when he did miss the inauguration of GW.

Now if Republican Congressmen did this in 2008 or 2012 Dems would be saying they don't a Black Man sworn in as President or they hate Obama. Now when the shoe is on the other foot on this board Dems applaud their congressmen for skipping Trump's inauguration. That's not good.
