Neither. Any ticket with Gabbard is unacceptable. I'd vote Green or abstain.

Gabbard is not Presidential material IMO. (maybe in the future... But I doubt it)

Yes, so? Yes, she may be conservative on foreign policy on some things, right now the country doesn't want a pacifist. Pacifists are naive, right now. They don't understand the threa--or they're coddling and abetting the threat. Tulsi does. Tulsi is tougher than most of the 2020 Dem male candidates right now. Tulsi gets it.

Gabbard is awful and should be kept as far from power as possible, so Kander/Gabbard by default.

Gabbard. Kander is really overrated (as is Bullock, who won't even run).

How so ? (Genuinely curious)

Tulsi understands the threat facing America. The rest of the Democratic Party, I don't think they get it.

Maybe it's also the down-ballot effect. I mean, looks at the insane guy they elected as Governor! His only ads were him blowing up stuff....

But yeah, Kander is very lefty. He had even Elizabeth Warren come down in Missouri to rally with him. I don't think that helped him, in retrospect. However, if he manages to get finally elected, he could be the new poster child of the progressive wing of the Dems. But he would have to get elected first... He will have to moderate himself.

What about Bullock, on the other hand ? I have way more faith in him.

He still couldn't win in what was basically the year of outsiders.

Now this is bad revisionist history. How many incumbents actually lost in either the primary or general elections? A whopping 2 in the Senate and 13 in the House, 5 of which were because of redistricting and 1 being the guy was sentenced to 10 years in jail.

Meanwhile, in a verifiable GOP wave in Missouri, a state which Clinton lost by nearly 20 points and the Democrat lost the governor's mansion by 6 points despite having everything needed for a Democrat to win in Missouri, Jason Kander managed to come within 2.8%. Only John Hoeven and Mike Lee were able to outperform his party's presidential nominee by a bigger margin, and even the latter was because of extraneous circumstances.

Anyways, I like Kander a lot, and I really can't stand Gabbard, so I much prefer Kander to be at the top of the ticket.

Kander served his country admirably. I don't think he would join a treasonous, pro-Putin, pro-Assad ticket.

Gabbard/Kander, because TN Volunteer says so, and I assume he knows what he's talking about, as he's one of the best posters here.

Which makes her treasonous supporter of foreign autocrats all the more disgusting.

If she's a warhawk, then what are are the Demcorats who support arming every random jihadist in Syria?

The lesson from Kander's campaign should be to look at what went well and see if it can be repeated in other races, not to desperately latch onto every single candidate who does better than their state's PVI would suggest. I hope Kander runs for either Senate or Governor in the future and eventually President; however, a 2020 Presidential run would be a bad idea and I think he knows that.

But Gabbard is awful, so I'd rather have Kander at the top of the ticket.

Gabbard has apparently defected to Syria, which should be taken into account.

Neither. No one who isn't a hardcore political junkie knows who either is. As for Kander, he needs to win statewide before he could even think of a national run. The obsession with him on here confuses me.

Um, former SECRETARY OF STATE Jason Kander *did* win statewide.

The hatred of Jason Kander on here confuses me? You have a guy who performed better in a red state that Oompa Loompa won by 18.5 points than progressive hero Russ Feingold did in a light blue state that Oompa Loompa won by 0.77 points? Jason was/is a good candidate for our state.
