...and you wanted to get a serious challenger to run in every R-held seat, who would you go with? Obviously this is completely hypothetical, since Democrats don't even have a bench in some of these states, but let's have fun with it, shall we?

Here's who I would go with:

Arizona - Kyrsten Sinema
Mississippi - Brandon Presley
Nebraska - Kim Robak
Nevada - Ross Miller
Tennessee - Karl Dean
Texas - Julian Castro
Utah - Ben McAdams
Wyoming - Gary Trauner

Arizona: Kyrsten Sinema
Texas: JOAQUIN Castro or Henry Cuellar
Nevada: Ruben Kihuen
Nebraska: Brad Ashford? I don't think he wants to run though, and he might switch parties again.

Not sure on the others.

Arizona: Ann Kirkpatrick or Janet Napolitano
Mississippi: Travis Childers
Nebraska: Brad Ashford
Nevada: Dina Titus or Ross Miller
Tennessee: Phil Bredesen
Utah: Jim Matheson
Wyoming: Dave Freudenthal

I'll create a similar thread for the GOP.

As much as I love Sinema, I've been somewhat convinced she isn't such a great fit for the state as a whole. It's a damn shame Carmona ran when he did, because he could have been great, and he's not going to run again. It would be great if Mark Kelly finally got off the pot and ran.

Alabama: Former Gov. Jim Folsom
Arizona: Rep. Kyrsten Sinema
Mississippi: Former Gov. Ronnie Musgrove
Nebraska: Former Rep. Brad Ashford
Nevada: Rep. Ruben Kihuen or former SoS Ross Miller
Tennessee: Former Gov. Phil Bredesen
Texas: Rep. Joaquin Castro
Utah: Former Rep. Jim Matheson
Wyoming: Former Gov. Dave Freudenthal

I wouldn't bother with Alabama or Wyoming.

Alabama (special): Ex-State Sen. Roger Bedford. Ran against Sessions in '96, and is still young-ish, at 60. Represented northern AL, but narrowly lost in 2014.
Arizona: Caption Mark Kelly
Mississippi: Jim Hood, though maybe not if he plans to run for Governor.
Nebraska: Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler
Nevada: Ex-SOS Ross Miller, or perhaps Kate Marshall, as being from Reno, she'd help neutralize Heller's regional vote there.
Tennessee: Country singer Tim McGraw - he's said in the past he'd be open to running for office.
Texas: Mark Cuban, easy.
Utah: Ex-Rep. Jim Matheson
Wyoming: State Sen. Chris Rothfuss

Arizona - Ann Kirkpatrick (Synema voted against Pelosi from the left, and had a far-left recod in the legislature, seems to be tacking left with her district).
Mississippi - Travis Childers
Nebraska - Scott Kleeb or Pete Festersen
Nevada - Ross Miller (Kihuen or Rosen just won swing seats, are better off standing for reelection before attempting a jump)
Tennessee - Karl Dean or Jim Strickland
Texas - Henry Cuellar or Joaquin Castro (Julian would be the better campaigner, but doesn't seem to like legislative politics, and Beto O'Rourke comes from the wrong part of the state and is even more leftist).
Utah - Ben McAdams (Matheson is now a lobbyist)
Wyoming - Dave Freudenthal
