The country is committed to civil rights and climate change already. It does not need to be thrown at people's faces. People get it. Y'all are acting like if Trump is going to repeal Civil Rights. What he and his supporters are most likely saying, is you are represented, the world does not revolve around you, we are all Americans, get to the business of the country and get working.

Muh LGBT friendly Trump... I wasn't fooled by it for a second.

I mean, Trump went after immigrants, Muslims, retweeted racists.  But he never said anything bad about LGBT.

He picked Pence for VP. That was more than telling enough imo.

More like the end of the beginning, I'd think. The door is open, and now we get to see what lies within.

He had to appease the wing of the GOP that still cares about such things.  Trump has no interest in fighting culture wars and neither does the GOP establishment.  The Northern Strategy is being implemented.

Trump's likely going to throw some bones to the Christian Right, but I highly doubt he's interested in that kind of culture war. His culture war has a less religious tone to it.

Well we already knew he was anti environment.
As for civil rights I think it is more just an issue he is indifferent to as opposed to outright hostile. Time will tell.

Drop religion-based social issues and focus on economic populism and immigration.  It's already starting.  Just listen to Milo Yiannopoulos or any number of anti-SJW for a few minutes and you'll get a taste of Northern Strategy rhetoric.

I get the idea, though I'm skeptical. Pence, DeVos, et al in the admin seems to indicate otherwise. I agree that these things are certainly not a priority for Trump himself, though.

It's not pretty when you deny something as real as climate change.

It definitely ain't pretty to not defend civil rights for the people who make up this country along with the higher priveleged.

But I digress.

It is still censorship. In President Trump's America anything that gets in the way of profits for the Master Class needs to be shoved aside if not suppressed. There are but two virtues in the America of Donald Trump -- profits and the underpaid toil that make them possible.

Man made climate change is a hoax.  LGBT is a private issue for consenting adults, and many find it perverted.  So why should the average Joe care that it's not on the White House website?

Yes!... if a commitment to climate change means encouraging it to happen.

'Climate change' is a hoax and 'civil rights' is mostly nonsense, but even if they weren't, they need time to update the website to cleanse the foul stench.

Remember when liberals had multiple years to get a website working and they were too stupid to make it work back in 2013?

Climate change is manifestly not "a hoax", even if you think that nothing can be done about it or that the worst has passed, but it's not really possible any longer to convince most people out of the canards and shibboleths of Their Side in this brave new "post-truth" world, so whatever.

Also,

So... how many chances do I still owe Trump now?

Put krazen on ignore. Responding to that person is exactly what they want and you shouldn't entertain them.
