I haven't ever actually watched the Family Guy, and it's entirely possibly I would agree with VT Dems, but it should be pointed out that nothing is sacrosanct in humor provided it's funny. Trump's mockery was offensive because it was unfunny, it was mean-spirited, designed to hurt, wound, belittle, and degrade his opponents, while being backed up by hostile political power designed to strip his targets of their rights. That's very different from comedy. And since BRTD is one of the few people who correctly maintains that the very popular South Park is a center-right show, in lieu of actually watching Family Guy, I trust his judgment on this.

I have to say, MacFarlane vs. Trump would be a pretty great election for sheer nihilistic post-materialist despair. I'm not really that great a prognosticator, but I'm pretty sure Melancholia would loom out of the sky and smack into the Earth some time around the second debate.
