I was wondering if someone has a list?
I know she won 3rd place in Maui, Kauai and Hawaii county in Hawaii and Multnomah County, OR, but I'm guessing there are more.
Thanks.

Here's the 3rd place map:

Based on incomplete results, since we're still getting stuff dumped

Ah, Utah and Idaho, you are saving the map Smiley

I'll give you one guess at the write-in candidate.

I'd say that Lincoln County, WY is mostly write ins for McMullin. Not that we'll know though.

Has that map been updated? Kind of hard to make out the colors in the smaller counties, but does this map show that Darrell Castle came in third place in Dubuque County, Iowa? If so, that's wrong because according to Atlas, Johnson came in third place there: https://uselectionatlas.org/RESULTS/statesub.php?year=2016&fips=19061&f=0&off=0&elect=0

Also, why did Castle do so well in Franklin and Wilkinson counties in Mississippi?

What's up with Prince George's County in Maryland? I didn't think that'd be fertile territory for a Green candidate...

IIRC Franklin County is very conservative, even by Mississippi standards.

Prohibition Party candidate.

In Arkansas County Arkansas, he defeated Johnson 133 to 126, 2.14% to 2.03%.

It was by far his strongest county, about double his 2nd best county. John did not do particularly poorly, more middling.

Hedges ran well ahead of Johnson in the precincts where Clinton was strongest, presumably because they are heavily black.

If Trump didn't come in 3rd place in any of the counties, is it safe to assume he made the top 2 in every county?  It looks like Clinton did not make the top 2 in every county, since she was the 3rd-place finisher in a few.

The stats page indicates that, and that Stein won 3rd place in 23 counties.

Kalawao. It doesn't show up on the map because it doesn't report its votes independently.

But in the few (or maybe just one) precincts which make up the county, Stein did take 2nd.

Trump: 2,031 votes
Johnson: 884 votes

City of Oakland
Clinton: 158,926 votes
Trump: 8,470 votes
Stein: 6,816 votes

What's up with Prince George's County in Maryland? I didn't think that'd be fertile territory for a Green candidate...

Prince George's County is overall a pretty unique county, so it's hard to say whether a result there is "expected". That said, Johnson did quite poorly in heavily black areas generally (as did Stein, but Johnson's relative underperformance was greater), and Prince George's County is also home to a large college (the University of Maryland). Stein generally came a solid third in college areas, but not by enough to edge Johnson overall in other college counties, typically because Johnson did far better than her with white suburban and rural voters, who are not much of a factor in PG County.

Note that Stein didn't do particularly well in PG County - 1.21%, against 1.29% statewide in Maryland or 1.06% nationally. It's more that Johnson did quite poorly - 1.17%, against 2.86% statewide or 3.27% nationally.
