-Stop being the Blue Nation Review and be an objective newspaper. But the incentives aren't there for that, and the press isn't wise enough to figure that out.

There is probably nothing they can do to be considered "objective" by those who don't believe them. Lying is different than not being believed. This is why this is an issue in the first place.

They could try not assuming the worst of Trump at every opportunity. Half or more of Trump's "lies" are just extremely uncharitable misinterpretations by reporters desperate for a "shocking" story. Plus they could cut down on opinion pieces disguised as objective reporting.
