what the hell would the people who preach trump's "3d chess strategy" advice the media to do?
ignore him?
laugh about him instead of hyperbole?
-Stop being the Blue Nation Review and be an objective newspaper. But the incentives aren't there for that, and the press isn't wise enough to figure that out.
There is probably nothing they can do to be considered "objective" by those who don't believe them. Lying is different than not being believed. This is why this is an issue in the first place.
They could try not assuming the worst of Trump at every opportunity. Half or more of Trump's "lies" are just extremely uncharitable misinterpretations by reporters desperate for a "shocking" story. Plus they could cut down on opinion pieces disguised as objective reporting.
President Pussygrabber, his cultists, and his merry band of billionaire looters should quake in fear at even the possibility that the media will work its way up to "objective reporting". "Objective reporting" would in short order fill the streets with enraged mobs bent on seeing the orange con artist swinging from a streetlight, along with his friends and lackeys. (I suspect that's where we'll eventually end up anyway, but he'll have years to ruin the nation, first.)
