Americans love them some peanut butter.  On celery with raisins.  Between two slices of white bread.  In a bowl of ice cream with some sliced banana.  Directly out of the jar.  Off of a significant other's body.

No doubt, Jimmy Carter approves.

Don't mind it, not as keen on it as the average American or Canadian. Much prefer this on my toast:

It's actually one of my favourite foods, perhaps second to cereal. I eat it from the jar with a spoon.

I'm not a fan, and it's pretty rancid when mixed with chocolate.

I don't actually like Vegimite all that much, I'd rather marmite, as it's less salty, and slightly sweeter imo.

Need to actually try Marmite one of these days... will be interested to see how it compares with Vegemite!

I tried it for the first time only a few years ago. Delicious! I love it on a slice of good German bread.

Awesome, but I can't just eat it straight from the jar.

Eating peanut butter from the jar is delicious.

I like crunchy peanut butter, but I don't eat it anymore since I've given up bread and can't eat it any other way than in a sandwich/on toast.

In any case, peanut butter is vastly superior to NUTELLA. It's comic watching Brits and Europeans act all superior about a liquefied candy bar made of cocoa sweepings and palm kernel oil.

Peanut butter is indeed far healthier than Nutella.  It has 3g of sugars compared to 21g of sugars in the same sized serving of Nutella.  Instead, peanut butter has more protein (8g vs 3g) and more fat (but not more saturated fat).

Europeans are bad with this stuff though.  Breakfast is not somewhere Europeans are healthier than Americans.

Even better with a knife.

Had a huge contempt toward this, tasted once, didn't find anything particular, tasted few years later, quite enjoyed.

And all my peanut butters i had, and i tried a lot, especially to find some to get rid of palm oil, which isn't easy, only found one or two decent enough that way, are all between 20 and 25 g prots. The fat is at least as insane as nutella though, but it kinda tastes 'more adult'.

Shame for bringing anything being tied by far or close to that imcomprehensible daring existing thing called 'marmite'.

Just tasted peanut butter with roquefort (strongest blue cheese) right now on average French bread, awesome.
