I thought Vicente Fox was being very cordial in his video where he said "We understand US people, we don't understand [Trump]."  It's nice to know we're not universally despised yet.  Over three million people voted against him than for him, after all.

ACLU did a great job today, and the protests at the airports tonight are just downright inspiring. Thank you to all fellow Americans who stood up for the weak and vulnerable tonight. Let's keep the fight going moving forward!

The stay only effects those effected today. It has no long term impact. It doesn't change the fact that those who haven't entered still can't.

Again, Im not sure. I can't find a definite answer. Is the entire order blocked or just a portion of it?

Haters gonna hate, and anyone likely to start hating us would hate us for the policy itself, not the imbecilic way it has been implemented.

It is more than imbecilic: it is insulting. And, yes, both the policy itself is hateworthy, and the way it is rolled out is worth extra hate.

I am afraid, this was not a bug, but a feature. They did it this way deliberately. May be, the push back would make them reverse it: it would be just a trial baloon. Though, frankly, I am not convinced of that.

In any case, anybody with a green card has been reminded that their existence in the US is quite precarious.
