Liberals who hold up McMullin as a shining example are worthless.

He will take more votes from Donald Trump than from the Democratic nominee. I like that prospect.

Proud to be a worthless liberal.
Me too. He is a principled guy. I only wish he had endorsed Hillary instead of making his ridiculous hail mary Utah run.

I was rooting for him in Utah. Hell, I would've voted for him if I lived there just to see the map go... green? Also,

Could McMullin primary Jason Chaffetz in 2018?

What do these guys not understand? Reagan conservatism will never win another presidential election for the Republican Party. This is the Worker's Party now. This is Trump's Party.

Step aside neocon snowflakes. The men and women who know how to WIN have taken over now.

Um, even Trump has mostly governed as a Reaganite conservative.  Our platform is Reaganite conservatism, and virtually all of our elected officials are Reaganite conservatives.

Fair enough.

But we need that added component of being pro worker if we want to win a general election. We can't win without the rust belt now.

By jove, I think he's got it!

Rand Paul is principled.

McMullin is an attention seeker.

The fact this is said non-ironically just goes to say how far the Republican Party has fallen risen ideologically in terms of a coherent governing ideology.

McMullin can't be a cuck as he has no conservative principles or sense of national identity to sell out. He's just a standard-issue deranged establishment hack working toward his self-interest.

Well, yes. The right has no use for him after our amazing victory in the 2016 elections. At this point, he is just a tool to dupe the sulking left, somewhat similar to Jill Stein's million dollar swindle on those recounts.

Nice. Hopefully he'll primary Hatch. The resistance to Trump movement should be funneled into Republican primaries rather than general elections.
We already tried that.
