During an interview with ABC’s David Muir which is set to air during Wednesday’s edition of ABC World News, the President and the anchor got into a testy back-and-forth over Trump’s citation of a Pew report on voter fraud.
"    Muir: You say you’re going to launch an investigation into (voter fraud).

    Trump: Sure. Done.

What you have presented so far has been debunked. It’s been called false —

No it hasn’t. Take a look at the Pew report.

I called the author of the Pew report last night. He told me they found no evidence of voter fraud.

Really? Then why did he write the report?

He said no evidence of voter fraud.

Excuse me. Then why did he write the report? Look at the Pew Report. Then he’s groveling again. You know, I always talk about the reporters that grovel when they wanna write something you wanna hear. But not necessarily millions of people want to hear, or have to hear"

He knows that all these allegations that millions voted illegally are fake; but he just doesn’t care. And he doesn’t care that this further divides the country. He also knows that most of his supporters believe his claims, no matter what nonsense he’s coming up with. If he tells his staunch supporters, the earth is flat, they would believe it and claim everything else is a conspiracy theory. It’s all about his ego; he just can’t accept the fact that he lost the PV by a healthy margin. Again, inferiority complex. The Trumpster is mentally insane and therefore incapable for the office of president. He needs to be replaced by Pence as soon as possible.

If "President" Pussygrabber wants to insist that his election was illegitimate, I think we can let him and his VP resign ASAP.

Does this contempt of truth qualify as mental illness? Is mental illness the sort of permanent  disability that would trigger the provisions of the 25th Amendment?

Gross incompetence or inadequacy has never been a ground for the removal of a President, Cabinet secretary, or Federal judge. What has mattered has been typically an incapacitating stroke, heart attack, or other undeniable end to the capacity of the President (in this case) to be able to communicate. Even for temporary debility, one would need a voluntary statement or so blatant reality as a coma. Impeachment seems limited largely to criminal misconduct or failure to discharge the duties.

It is unlikely that a President would ever submit to a mental evaluation.

No and no. Contempt of truth is a necessary precondition for the government employment in the US now, though.

It is not even a relevant question, whether he is. He has decided on destroying liberty and democracy in America: this is the only thing that should matter.

Trump supporters are awfully quiet in this thread. Even Krazen hasn't shown up for his ubiquitous mod-sanctioned trolling.

It's hard to defend a pathological liar.

And yet they do so chronically.
