No. My current car is a 2006. My next one will no doubt be built during the Obama Presidency, the Golden Age of America. I will never buy a 2017-2020 car. Once I swap out my current one for probably around a 2010/11 or so, I will relish in knowing that the Glorious Ruler reigned while it was constructed, a relic of the time before the Dark Age.

I thought of this today when I was at the record store, and the clerk was a cute girl wearing a sweatshirt that had the Presidential logo on it and next to it "BARACK OBAMA" and then below it "44th President of the United States".

Nostalgia already!

I'm really glad Barack Obama has better things to do with his life than reading this forum. Handing over the power to Trump was hard enough.

Guys I'm not much different than conservatives who idealize the Reagan years as some Golden Age.

How would you feel if someone had posted all this stuff in 2009?

"I will never go to a place that voted for Obama"
"I will never buy any car made in an Obama year"
"All Obama supporters are terrible people"
"I need to make sure to buy gas in only McCain counties on my trip to the Northeast"

Correct, and that ilk is equally disgusting.

Trick question, when tariffs raise the prices of cars sevenfold, a global oil shock causes prices to skyrocket and an unregulated industry causes the car industry to revert to making literal junk, nonody will buy cars.

Not to mention all them self-drivers that are on their way. Why deal with ownership, legal junk, and maintenance when you can get the speediness at a mere button-click?

Well it wasnt only the Reagan years as it extended all the way to the end of the clinton years. But during the time of 1981-2000 America created over 40 million Jobs, inflation dropped rapidly , a lot of our top business today originate from the 1980s or 1990s, the soviet union was on its way down , or had collapsed and we faced no other external threats, It was the best time for entertainment in the history of the country , and the Internet was invented. I mean if that is not the golden age I am not sure what is.

-That one was OK, but I'm going with 1828-1852.

If you're really that anti-Trump, surely you wouldn't want to buy a car made during any year that Trump was alive, right?

It's pathetic how much you worship the President who helped elect Trump by pushing hard for TPP while letting Wall Street get away with everything.
