If they are true swing voters and/or are registered Independents, then FFs (assuming they aren't just terrible posters in general).  If they want to seem unbiased and more credible than the "hacks" who have a red or blue avatar but are actually total hacks themselves, then the worst HPs on the board.

I love our avatar features, and I am a proponent of using them in a way that conveys SOME type of political meaning (i.e., how you are actually registered, what primary you vote in, etc.).

What is funny is many of these "independent" avatars are actually partisan hacks and extremists.

I am a red avatar and not a hack at all and side with the GOP on some issues. Much to dismay of many here.

Though to be honest, I'd probably be a Democrat in the U.S. (especially during the recent years), but as I live in Israel I prefer not to align myself with an American party. Plus some of my views are different than those of many Democrats.

The reason I sport a light green avatar is that I am more anti-GOP than pro-Dem. It also helps I have oddball stances like being staunchly pro-life in most cases.

Mixed opinions. There are definitely great green avatars out there, but a lot of people use them to fake nonpartisanship.

Anecdote: once, before you joined this forum, there was an "Opinion of the Ulster Volunteer Force" thread, where everyone sane voted HP but there was one FF vote. I quipped that the one FF vote was probably an "orange" avatar, and some people thought I was being serious. So yes, Orange is the edgiest avatar of them all.

Anyhow, we Light Greens are all obviously hacks and HPs who warrant banning and Amish-style shunning, myself first and foremost
