I do hope the honorable Senators will pardon my interuption here, but as the GM-designate, I have a question on the CSM and it's intent.

For the authors and supports of the bill: is the intent of the CSM to turn Atlasia into a turn-based forum game, by which I mean something similar to the games Peace Through Strength and The Iron Throne, run by former President Lumine? That is how I've read the bill, and the amendment.

It would mirror part of Lumines, but naturally would be much more free flowing. I'd want to take parts of it, without completely changing the way that Atlasia works.

The major problem I've had when writing/designing the CSM is that we've gone through Presidents/GM rather quickly meaning that we haven't had a lot of stability. I didn't want to write a massive bill, and tie the hands of the GM when creating it (and hoped it would be expanded by the GM's office/President etc through)

I stand by my original concerns, so I will not be voting in favor of this.  That is all.

I believe Sudamerica had something similar to this, correct?

Aye; it was the one thing that actually worked from that set up.

There were however a number of differences 1.) There's was much more focused on the executive, I'd want ours to be wider (e.g Zika virus, requiring action from Congress)

Just to throw in a spanner into the bill I'm considering whether a pilot version of this would work better than a bill that just throws us into the deep end
