He is probably overall on total "contributions", the worst poster in Atlas history. The reason being that most unbearable sh!tposters are just trolls that disappear after an election, or get banned, but he's stuck around and posted his utter garbage for 12 years.

What I find perplexing is why conservatives used to find him insufferable and constantly bash him, and now are actually pretty defensive of him.

I don't hold it against BRTD at all for changing his views literally a decade later. I'm sure all of us have changed our opinions of people (or other stuff) over a period of years, or in some cases, even shorter amounts of time.

Anyway, jfern had a poll in April:

He's a total prick, but he doesn't attack those few who agree with him.  He attacks all Republicans, and any Democrat who isn't as extreme as he is.  Under his definition of "Democrat," the party would receive about 10% of the vote. (emphasis mine)  It's scary that people like him comprise even that big a share of the population.

 I voted FF, but still got a chuckle out of that one. Still true!

I hope that's the only reason why jfern is winning this poll.  He is pretty much the far left equivalent of a Trump apologist, excusing nearly everything Trump has done.  It hasn't escaped notice (I hope) that he only began posting actively here again once Donald Trump won the election.
