I'm sure that hasn't helped at all but it's what happened last month, this story was told buy the guy he harassed and was even confirmed by Clarke.

Clarke was on a flight back from Dallas all decked out in Cowboys gear, a guy thought he recognized him so he asked and he said he was. Guy shook his head and started to walk away, Clarke asked if he had a problem, guy shook his head no and kept walking away. Thought that was it but Clarke had 6 sheriff's deputies and two bomb sniffing dogs meet the guy in Milwaukee and detain and talk with him and escort him out. Guy told what happened, Clarke confirmed and started threatening and harassing the guy, saying he should have knocked him out and if anyone else asked who he was he would do the same. Then he used the department's twitter account to basically threaten the guy with death. County started an investigation, Clarke is calling it fake news and denies doing anything wrong and refused to talk about it, keeps saying the guy is a snowflake and blah blah blah.

FB post was deleted now but it basically called the guy a snowflake and if Clarke was to harass him he wouldn't be around to complain about it. Then also said the only way he'd reach across the aisle to Democrats is to grab them by the throat. The man is really filth.

Clarke has been barely hanging on in the past few Democratic primaries as it is - him doing anything along the lines of what he has been doing in recent years was basically guaranteed to be enough. By these numbers, he has had a reputation for being a Republican in Democrat's clothing for awhile, even before his outlandish national profile emerged. This has been a politically dead man walking for some time now, which makes me think that he decided long ago that he wasn't running for another term as Sheriff.

David Clarke isn't going to run as a Democrat in any race for higher office. He's pretty much a DINO (Democrat in name only), only having that voter registration because sheriff elections in Milwaukee County are partisan and that running as a Democrat is a huge advantage in any election for elected office in Milwaukee County.

If he was going to run for office beyond Milwaukee County local government, he's going to run as a Republican.
