I rather like him, but I don't think he has many opportunities for advancement in California. Doesn't seem to really be climbing the ranks in House leadership either.

I love his district--one of my favorite parts of the West. As for the man himself, I know very little about him but given that  he's a Republican and IIRC is in the Liberty caucus(?) I doubt I'd be a fan.
