That is difficult. I’d rate Johnson and Obama as a tie, with JFK close second.

1. Johnson/Obama
3. Kennedy
4. Carter (for being a more decent president than Clinton)

Obama, but that's not a ringing endorsement at all.


LBJ should be one of my favorite Presidents full stop, but Vietnam was such a disaster on every single front that he's near the bottom. It defunded the Great Society, it killed 60k americans, it irreparably harmed the institution of the Presidency.


Other than that, it's standard Imperial Presidency bullhockey. Obama isn't great, but he isn't terrible. And he's so funny and charming on TV!
