     People calling it a "Muslim ban" when it most certainly is not probably does not help public perception. It wasn't a particularly well-conceived order, but criticizing it should not require misrepresentation.

He enacted the 7 nation ban specifically to fulfill his campaign pledge of banning Muslims. He didn't ban Muslims outright only because it's not politically or logistically possible. For that reason, I think it's totally fair to call it a Muslim ban. If you want to note how ineffective it actually is at its stated goal though, you could call it a Muslim ban-lite or a the half assed Muslim ban.

     Do you have proof of this?
