Chris Christie's political career going down in flames was one of the few high points of 2016.

Is the locker room attendant's job at Rutgers elected?  If so, he might win that election.

His only chance would be some job in the Trump admin, but he's never getting elected to anything ever again.

He actually said he expects a Trump Job in the next year or so- they often burn through the campaign staff in the first two years or so (as Obama did) and at the rate they're going they could do with someone who's got some experience.

No, but don't rule out him being Attorney General if Jeff Sessions retires, or W.H. Chief of Staff. He could run for Senate in 2020, 2024.

I did. If Mark Sanford could come back, Christie could come back.

No. At this point, I'm not even sure he could get confirmed to a cabinet post by the current Senate.

He could also still end up in jail.

Agreed. I even doubt the Donald would just consider it. That's why he didn't select Christie as AG.

Another elective office like senate seems also a hopeless cause considering his current popularity in New Jersey. Probably he's going back to be a lawyer next year.

Assuming that he didn't close them down in the first place.

Perhaps he would prefer to close them down, then burn them.

Lemme just get this straight, since I'm not completely sure what did happen: Christie closed down the bridge during his reelection campaign because a Mayor refused to endorse him. That right?
