I do not endorse Golden Dawn, but they are the only ones who stand for Constantinople.

I'll admit I haven't been following Dutch politics, but what has VVD done to be considered "fascist" by people here? Huh

There are really only three options:
-Communist Front (PvdA, SP, GroenLinks, PvdD, DENK, Nieuwe Wegen)
-Fascist Alliance (VVD, PVV, CDA, ChristenUnie, SGP, 50Plus, VNL, FVD)
-D66

You... you really don't know much about political philosophy and ideology, do you? Even the PVV isn't Fascist, it's more of a right-wing populist and Dutch nationalist party; nor is the SP anything more than Democratic Socialist at best. Most of the rest, save for the Christian parties, are basically varying forms of liberalism, honestly.

Personally, it's an easy vote for me - GroenLinks!

This is true.

I'm glad to see others are standing up and saying no to the fascists and communists here and now!

Anti nuclear energy. It's one of our best weapons against the climate crisis and far too many so-called environmentalists oppose it. The world is too plugged-in for solar and wind alone and we need actions now to stop the crisis. We can't wait for solar and wind to be able to power the world. It'll take too long. Should we keep building windmills and solar panels? Of course. And we should keep developing their capabilities. But we should also keep building nuclear power plants. We need all renewable energy, as quickly as possible. We can't wall-off one option just because it sounds scary.

Dutch posters on here have told me that nuclear energy isn't a big issue in the Netherlands. But it is to me. And if it wasn't for that one issue, I'd probably be fine with them. But to me, it just seems like shooting yourself in both feet.

Nothing. They're your average centre-right conservative liberal party. Tax cuts, tough on crime, things like that (but they are liberal on abortion and gay rights). They would do pretty much everything to remain in power though (but they have ruled out working with the PVV).

Voted GL in the poll, but could imagine voting for PvdA or D66 (though the latter seem a bit right-wing for me at the moment).

SP, for lack of better options. (PVV is obviously terrible but its striking that they're actually better than VVD on some austerity related issues)

That's an... interesting choice for someone with an E score of -1.5.

Yeah, Pechtold is significantly to the right of even the D66 base of support on economic issues. The base of the party seems to want it to be social democratic, maybe only slightly to the right of PvdA. Pechtold wants to bring it in a more Nick Clegg-Liberal Democrat direction.

There are no fascists or communists on the ballot, and most parties are moderate heroes.
Literally every other parties are fascists and communists.
...

There's definitely something for everyone. I'd just vote to keep the Netherlands weird...so maybe VVD or D66...maybe a lefty but not too lefty party.

While I might have to somewhat hold my nose and vote for the Labour Party, I couldn't vote for a party that embraces Euroscepticism, like the Socialist Party.

Then why not GroenLinks? They have become more left-wing under Klaver.

A large wing of the party advocates pacifism even if The Netherlands is attacked, I don't like their ideas to expand EU markets, reform NATO, abolish the Dutch senate, abolish the monarchy, "democratize" the IMF and World Bank etc.
