“It’s a very strange phenomenon,” he said on Fox News’s “The O’Reilly Factor” Monday. "We get along. I don’t know if he’ll admit this, but he likes me.”

“I like him because I can feel it,” Trump added of his predecessor, who leveled hash criticism against the businessman during the campaign. "That’s what I do in life – it’s called like, I understand.”

...about as much as I like internet trolls who have libeled me as a kingpin in the Jewish conspiracy of world domination (I am not part of any plot to rule the world, there is no such Jewish plot, and I am not even Jewish) or as a homosexual child molester (wrong both on my sexual orientation and a horrific crime).

Barack Obama is a likable enough person and I expect that he givers most people the benefit of the doubt -- until he has cause to think otherwise. Do evil and you have as dangerous an enemy as you can possibly have. I can imagine him with some other course in life as a racket-busting DA or judge... the Chicago machine did everything possible to make sure that he had to go into national politics to satisfy his ambitions. "Judge", "Federal Prosecutor",  or "District Attorney" Obama would make Chicago the sort of place in which crooks get involved in city politics in one sordid deal and then get a long stay in a State or federal prison.

Donald Trump is doing nearly nothing as ex-President Obama would suggest because of contempt for someone who has the obvious ability, desire, and energy with which to do things on behalf of his country. I expect that very soon America is going to need him to get America out of some mess that President Trump gets us into. He is the dream choice to do so because neither George H W Bush nor Jimmy Carter is up to it anymore (age 92), the health of Bill Clinton is suspect, and the younger Bush is a near-recluse with little credibility.

But President Trump holds him in contempt. Thus President Obama is out of the question for solving some diplomatic problem because... He is on good enough terms with the military, the intelligence services, most significant foreign leaders, and the United Nations. Academia? Maybe. Nobody could be more convincing on government administration or electoral politics. State government? Which one?

Ignoring the obvious falsity of this statement, I hope that Obama can wield some influence on Trump, as we know Trump is an extremely easily manipulated person.

Both of them beat HRC while losing the popular vote. Of course Obama would like Trump.

Putin is going to have such an easy time charming this man.  It'll be like taking candy from a baby.

Everyone likes Trump. He's the best. He's terrific.

Anything else is fake feelings. It can't be trusted. The only feelings you can have are what Trump says.

Well, caucuses are garbage. But FL and certainly MI should not be included in Hillary's total.

He's referenced this before and has refused to divulge it. I believe the Wall Street Journal mentioned it was North Korea. Reading in between the lines here, it does suggest that they're not saying it in public as to not give that country the validation of knowing that we consider them our biggest military threat.

For sure, President Drumpf. President Obama is a great fan of yours, because you are such a TERRIFIC dude. LOL! Barack Obama has treated you with respect after the election and was polite, although he can’t stand you. Why? Because, unlike you, Obama is a decent man with character and behaves like a president does. Take him as an example instead of insulting people on Twitter at 3 a.m. Sad!
