Something seems off about Cobb. It says that they finished dumping all the E-day votes but there are some precincts whose E-day votes haven't changed from what their early vote totals were. I refuse to believe that there were no E-day voters there so it's very strange as to why it didn't update.

Ossoff would probably need about 49.5% of the remaining vote in Fulton to win outright. Probably not going to happen.

How does GA-07 compare to GA-06? Would that seat be as winnable? I'm thinking more for 2018.

To be fair, the Fulton County elections office is in Downtown Atlanta, which is quite a ways from the northern county portions of the district. It can take time to get the results down to the office.

GA-7 is somewhat more Republican and didn't trend as hard due to being more exurban.  Plus, incumbent races do not present the same pickup opportunities that open seats do.

GA-07 has more minorities not as educated as 6th though but the Dem candidate usually does better here in congressional race than the 6th.

Regarding the incumbent status, of course. I was just curious, thanks for the input.

It is very, very, very, very likely that Jon Ossoff faces a runoff against Karen Handel in #GA06. Just waiting on a few precincts.

In Judson Hill's State Senate district special election, Democrats are well above 50%, but they're split among three candidates, with Christine Tribisch (the highest Dem) at 36%. She'll likely be running against Kay Kirkpatrick. I don't know anything about either of these candidates.

DDHQ showing some rare restraint in officially calling the race:

They're still traumatized by their premature projection in the 2016 MI Dem Primary.

Significant to note that among the GOP tonight in GA06, the more closely aligned a candidate was with Trump, the worse said candidate did.

This shouldn't be surprising. Didn't trump get crushed here by rubio?

This district is collectively telling trump to "stop changing our party!"

to be fair to Gray, the actual Trump-affiliated 45 Committee ran ads against him. But Gray was the person who kissed the most butt.
