Just so you know, the past few pages on this thread are why the hard left bent to this board makes it so much harder for it to function as an election data forum.

We're getting one sided reports, we're getting gifs of "sweating". Then, when the night is over, the haughtiness starts again with the next race.

Exactly. I would pin thread about early voting for general 2016 so people could see how stupid they behaved.

Greg Bluestein‏ @bluestein
Tea leaves: Dems in #GA06 are buoyed by especially high turnout in Sandy Springs precinct that overwhelmingly backed Nunn in '14. #gapol

High dem ED turnout in delkalb is to be expected considering the EV was anemic due to limited availability of early voting spots.

Sandy Springs is in Fulton County.

Polls close at 7pm EDT.  We'll probably get EV results quickly after that.

Ossoff might really pull this off by a percentage point

This precinct voted 60.4% for Clinton.

After tonight, maybe Dems will finally realize their chances are better in Montana(a place with a rich history of electing dems compared to the affluent suburbs of Atlanta) because if Ossoff doesn't get to %), I don't think he will be able too in the run off.
Exciting things I cant wait!

I am one of the most respected posters on this site.

I don't pollute threads predicting the democratc/GOP will win and trolling with gifs while doing it.

I respect how little self-awareness you have, so yes, you are one of the most respected posters on this site.

Feel my wrath. I am MARTY from MONTANA and like a tree standing by the waterside, I shall not be moved by mondale's cretin behavior.

This is bizarre.

I was under the impression that Sandy Springs was a Republican-leaning city considering it's history. Is it more a swing city now?

Can we please get another page or two of right-wingers trashing up the thread, griping about how the thread is being trashed?

Ossoff is most likely heading toward something like 45-47% which is great heading into the runoff

"You just posted it. You quoted me, it's your gif. You're using my gif, when I post a gif and you quote it back it's circular using of the gif and that's from you."

As a Democrat and a Mets fan I am used to heart break. All I can think about tonight is a continued tale of woe. Hope the streak breaks because this year has been very sad to watch.

Yes, I am not expecting much - I'm making an optimistic prediction in the main thread, but I'm purposefully not reading into reports of HIGH TURNOUT because that screwed me hard in 2016.

I find it amazing that long lines could develop in that the congressional election is the only thing on the ballot, correct?  If that's right it shouldn't take long for people to get in and vote and be done, not like those California style ballot marathons that we enjoy so much.

Don't let perfect be the enemy of good. Tonight will be a win for Ossof if he gets 47 or above.
