When (if) progressives ever take power, we need to tax areas like this out of existence.

We should probably de-gerrymander this district first...

The funny part of this is that it was your party that put Georgia's 6th district in the Northern Suburbs of Atlanta in the first place.

For the record, the GOP actually weakened this district by 3 points in the 2011 redistricting.

What a great Tom Brady style comeback. Trump wins again.
Pretty sure Trump's the reason this district is even close...

A reason, perhaps. Not the reason. A fractured field and a massive money advantage from out of state donors count for something.

Here's what SoS is showing as reporting fully (green) and partially (yellow):

Looks like most of the heaviest GOP voting areas are already fully reported if I'm not mistaken.

Actually, Trump's chosen one got a little-league 9%. Pretty sure that counts as a loss for him.

I get Trump has a huge troll following but this is not a GOP win at all everyone coming in said Ossoff hitting 50% would had been catastrophic for the GOP him at 47-48% vs Handel is a good position

Gop 2018 nightmare is districts like this that shifted towards the dems in 16 realigning which this seems to be showing

Cobb is 73% in... Ossoff a few points below benchmark. All depends on where the remaining precincts are.

Cobb (37% in)
Ossoff: 47%
538 goal: 43%

DeKalb (67% in)
Ossoff: 58%
538 goal: 60%

Fulton (16% in)
Ossoff: 55%
538 goal: 49%

the problem for osoff is that the next votes are ED votes.

Cobb: Ossoff at 42 % now...
