Wow. As of this moment, Ossoff and the top 5 Republicans combined have exactly the same number of votes at 88,562 each.

Yes, Republicans will end up with more votes.

What a change from just a few months ago's House race when this went R+23.

It's also interesting to note that 2016 was Price's worst performance in the district and he was running against a candidate that no one even knows. There are some interesting trends in the district and that is why Ossoff has a chance.

Despite major outside money, FAKE media support and eleven Republican candidates, BIG "R" win with runoff in Georgia. Glad to be of help!

When Trump's bar for "winning" is so low, I wonder what it would take for him to "lose." I bet that, by his standards, getting 30% in 2020 would count as a "win."

Seems decently likely Gray voters won't have big turn out for Handel given Gray's animosity for her.

DDHQ is claiming Ossof will be below 47 when all the votes are counted.

No, Mr. Lyin' Donald, Jon Ossoff being held to below 50%+1 is NOT a "win" for the GOP!

Yeah this at least states that Hillary's numbers in the suburbs might be the new norm for Democrats. Means seats like TX-07 might be actually competitive, and seats like VA-10 or CA-49 very very very vulnerable.

A loss is a loss. More proof that the Democrats need to move to the center. This isn't Kenosha. A DLC Democrat like Zell Miller might've had a chance here.

I don't see why we always have to run far left candidates in places like Kansas and Georgia. We could have won this district with a blue dog.
Even as a Republican hack I can see that Ossoff was pretty moderate, not sure what else you want lol

I have a feeling Dems will fall short in all 5 special elections and it will mean nothing for 2018.

Calling for a move to the center after a series of losses is trolling now? I'm old enough to remember a time when it was common sense. The days of Tony Blair and Bill Clinton -- long gone now.

Ossoff is pro-choice, thinks banning Muslims is "unconstitutional", and opposes repealing Obamacare, all of which are probably unpopular positions. He is not a "moderate", which is what a district like this and KS and MT call for.

For one thing, Kenosha is in a district that sends super conservative Paul Ryan to Congress and second, someone like Zell Miller would have never had a chance in GA-6. Those types used to win in rural areas, but never played well in suburbs. Why don't you just say you are rooting for Karen Handel and be honest? You switched to Republican after all.
