Well it should be pointed out Landmark Communications polled Ossoff really under

Take a look at the RCP average. While they did have Ossoff at 45%, they were still the most accurate pollster.

I agree with GeorgiaModerate. This is a MoE race.

Heard my first negative Ossoff ad this morning, attacking Handel for a record of wasteful spending.  All the previous ones have focused on what Ossoff proposes to do in Congress.

Looking like this seat might be the Democratic version of the Scott Brown moment.

I've been pondering the odds of there being a recanvass for this race. If the margin is within one percentage point, either side can request one. I'm guessing it wouldn't be a big, long ordeal since it's not the same thing as a recount, however.

Plus they also underpolled Handel

Republicans concerned about the competitiveness of this race. Nothing here we haven't seen. There's an indication that her need to fundraise aggressively is keeping her off the campaign trail.

Ossoff campaign wanted six debates, and just announced that they reached an agreement for at least three with Handel. Handel campaign says they have not confirmed these three debates yet.

I saw this on DK today, and I have to ask, who exactly is putting together these emails for Ossoff?

Is trying to digitally guilt someone really the best way to solicit money?

Many of the Democratic PACs & whatnot that have my email are written in this style: it must work in getting liberal old ladies to fork over their money, but I hate it.

Yeah, most studies show that stuff like this works, unfortunately.

Ew. Well, at least Handel's are pretty bad as well, fundraising off of the extended registration period as a partisan trick.

I saw that too and thought maybe it was targeted at people who were on their list but hadn't donated. It especially grinds me the wrong way because they are literally the best funded House race ever. The money is coming from somewhere, don't bother me with this begging trash.

It works to get money. I think that most firms suffer from looking only at that metric - emails in this style hurt your brand, and the worst among them (with apocalyptic subject lines like "It's over. We lost." during early voting) might even discourage turnout.

The emails that Revolution Messaging (that rose to prominence with the Bernie Sanders campaign, but had done work with Chris Murphy and others before) are some of the best in Democratic politics. They authentically reproduce the voice of the candidate, build the brand, and bring in lots of $$$.

lol...those dasdardly Democrats want people to vote! Send me your money lowly serf.

It's a shame she didn't feel any need to clarify that Georgia's deadline blatantly and unambiguously violated federal law, and that she wished to "play" by illegal rules. I swear, this constant, non-stop hypocrisy from Republican officials / operatives regarding election law is infuriating.

Really? Why?
I've gotten almost this exact email from like, four candidates since 2014.

Fire this person

Not a person, a well respected firm that is also doing emails for Quist, IIRC a bunch of other Democratic candidates.

As someone who gets emails from the Ossoff campaign, it's depressingly real. I get a bunch of similarly distraught messages from them every day.

Hasn't he spent more money on a House race than any previous Democrat? What a whiner. This is as bad as Hillary begging for 1 dollar.

If Bernie Sanders was the Democratic nominee in 2016, I'm sure you'd find a way to interpret it as neo-liberals cementing their hold on the party.

What an ad - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IJp8-BAT6Y

Thank you Georgia - From San Francisco for giving a Congressman after Nancy Pelosi & it goes on & on !

This same group, the Congressional Leadership Fund has many other Pelosi/Ossoff ads -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oxyqd5XiVgs - A Rubber Stamp

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caMoSDkVEAY - Yes man

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caMoSDkVEAY - Not us

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJrqSTAch1I - This was is not totally about Pelosi but somewhat related - Hollywood vs Georgia - Ossoff will be Nancy Pelosi's Congressman !

GOP is mainly going hard with Pelosi/Ossoff ads. Why do the Democrats not go after Mitch McConnell in key Senate races considering he is even more disliked nationally?

And Pelosi is this hated in even rich sub-urban areas !

The Quist-Pelosi angle has totally failed though which is why they are going for all sorts of ads against Quist - Too Liberal, personal finances, etc to see if something sticks !
