I'm interested in this race, because for one, it will provide a glimpse into how people closer to my age (that is, those who have grown up with the internet and have lengthy, often embarrassing digital trails) will be attacked in a political campaign. If early indications are to go by, said attacks will be spineless and awful.

That being said, I do believe Ossoff will pull out a squeaker, but I think he'll likely lose in 2018. Still, it will provide a good springboard for his career going forward.

(Also, he's pretty cute imo)

Agree to disagree on this one.

Even in this picture?

Congressional Leadership Fund (R) has ANOTHER negative ad against Ossoff involving Star Wars.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wua0okxKvmM&feature=youtu.be

Why wouldn’t I want the captain of the Millennium Falcon making life-or-death decisions?

Josh Kraushaar @HotlineJosh
#GA06: Hearing some private grumbling from top Rs that early GOP attacks portraying Ossoff as immature haven't worked. New msging in works.

No, really?

I'm amazed how they don't have anything on Ossoff.

Should they? I can’t imagine he’s had time to accumulate many skeletons in his political closet.

Yes, this is definitely going to go way past my personal 9PM cutoff for political media. I'll check in tomorrow morning.

Another thing about the Georgia voting machines: they use touch screens.  In every election, there are a few reports of machines casting ballots for the wrong candidate.  This invariably turns out to be a calibration problem with the touch screen.  If you see similar reports on Tuesday, don't assume it's a conspiracy to alter the result.

Touch screen voting just seems risky.

As expected, this thread is toxic. There is so much bad, overreacting "analysis" going on here. Nate Cohn's twitter account has better takes than this garbage. Chill out people. A Republican or Democrat winning in GA-6 tomorrow means a Republican or Democrat won in GA-6. And possibly, NOTHING more.

The shooting of Scalise is leading to a Handel surge.

Out of all the bad takes in this thread...

But seriously if Ossoff does lose what do dems do? He did everything right while Handel did so much wrong yet reps fell in line

He does not even live in the district.

Isn't this only relevant if he loses by one vote?
