Ugh, I wish I hadn't seen that thread. It boggles my mind how many people think cutting all funding to the humanities is a great idea because "muh wasteful spending." Anyway, this other quote of Santander's also made it a little more bearable.

Congressman Andy Biggs has already asked our President to Pardon Joe Arpaio.

The idea that President Trump should listen to the Losers of the 2016 election is....strange.

I mean, Arpaio himself is a loser of the 2016 election.

He doesn’t need to concede when there are more than 4x the ballots outstanding than the margin.

Forgive Bagel, his great passion in life is conceding to Republicans.

Nice to see Dems reaping what they sow for disrespecting the rurals. Hope this is a good wake-up call for them to drop the unneeded cultural battles that the 1% likes and go back to their roots.

LOL, you don't hope that at all ... what would you post about?!

Both were horrible, but if forced to pick, I’d say Roosevelt.

What was horrible about Lincoln in your view?  I assume you dislike Roosevelt because you hold conservative views, but that would be a hilariously misguided and simplistic reason to hate Lincoln, so I figure there must be something else.

He was an autogenocidal authoritarian who carried out an illegal war intended to solidify and expand the federal government's power, and subjugate his political opposition.

Essentially, an American Pol Pot, just not quite as psychopathic and evil. He is the worst President in American history, and likely and hopefully will retain this distinction forever.

This is your brain on libertarianism.

Looks like BRTD's got company:

Libelous, how? You want me to kiss Harris's feet? I don't do that.
Repressing your foot fetish is only going to make things worse, Cal.

I think we'll have to wait until at least early 2020 to have some answers. I get that it's an Atlas tradition to predict events years into the future with a lot of confidence, but the truth is, everyone should probably be a little less confident about their predictions.

Dude, your whole thing is confidently predicting things years in advance, putting them in your display name, and smugly saying everyone else is arrogantly getting ahead of themselves.

Not gonna lie, you posting this here seems a bit like a case of the pot calling the kettle black

Pretty much anyone on Atlas calling another user in particular "arrogant" or "overconfident" is the pot calling the kettle black. That's why I try to describe Atlas in general that way, rather than targeting specific users.
