If Cruz/Fiorina were sworn in instead of Trump/Pence, what would be different so far?

Some possible examples and things to think about:

Would he have done the 7-country travel ban?

Would he have appointed Gorsuch, DeVos, Price, Mnuchin, Sessions, Puzder, Tillerson, Mattis Priebus, Bannon, Flynn, Conway (I think she was with Cruz in the primaries), Perry, Carson, Haley, Pompeo, Pruitt, etc.? Would Cruz's picks receive similar scrutiny and delays?

Would he have given the EOs to build a wall, withdraw from TPP, renegotiate or leave NAFTA, bring back the Keystone XL and Dakota pipelines, federal hiring freeze, repealing 2 regulations for each new 1, changing the National Security Council, and all the rest?

Would he have taken a similar approach to the government bureaucracy, with the mass firings (and some very specific ones, like how he handles Yates)? With the press? Or the hands-on specific approach with businesses, and his business advisory council?

Would he have been following a similar foreign policy path, with being friendly with Putin,  foretelling war with China within this decade and talking to Taiwan openly, putting Iran "on notice" including new Iranian sanctions, how he's treating Mexico, calling on Israel to stop announcing settlements, possible tariffs, comments on torture, and talk of a trade deal with the UK?

Would he also demand that Congress come up with a replace plan first, and it cover more people than ObamaCare? Or in investing in infrastructure? Or deciding not to issue EO's on "religious liberty" rolling back LGBT protections?

Would Cruz have gone farther on any other issue (ex: abortion, ISIS, Muslim-Americans, Immigration, LGBT, ObamaCare, regulations, etc.) than Trump so far?

What would be President Cruz's approval rating, and would we see similar protests?

What else might be different?

I think that what I put in bold would be very likely. Otherwise, he'd be much more socially conservative, eg. signing the religious liberty EO and rolling back LGBT protections. He'd probably move on repealing Obamacare much faster, but the Muslim ban wouldn't have happened. He might have been making noises about a fence by now, but not a wall. He'd probably have less protests since he's less outrageous, and be much kinder to the media than Trump. His approvals would likely follow a more normal pattern than Trump- high at first, and then, because his policies would be disastrous, much lower later on.

The President of the United States would actually be doing his job instead of ranting on the internet while sitting in the White House basement in his underwear at 3am. And while he would be facing strong and wide-spread criticism from the Left, no one would be accurately labeling him a "fascist, loofa-faced, sh**t-gibbon", nor would America's rivals be cheering while our allies set up crisis rooms to deal with the president's disaster of hour.

Yeah; Trump's better than Lyin' Ted in many respects. The reverse is also true, of course.

I don't think Lyin Ted would have won against Hillary Clinton because Donald Trump hates Lyin Ted so much that if he lost the nomination to Cruz, Trump would have declared a third-party candidacy, thus dividing the conservative vote and ensuring Hillary Clinton's victory.

Nah, if Trump lost the primary, he wouldn't have gone 3rd party... some of those close to him have said he didn't wanna be President & remember he told Christie he'd endorse Christie once he dropped out. He didn't plan on winning b/c he didn't wanna win.

Democrats would still be running with this "evil GOP President" repeated over and over again.
