During the next four years (first term of Trump), how will American culture change? Will it become a bit more "old school", or will it be something entirely new?

More hyper-sexualization, more crudeness, more crap, more smut, more viciousness, more hatred, more antagonism, more divisiveness, more racial divide...

There's going to be a left -- 99.9% of Hollywood, African-Americans, Broadway theatre, the fashion industry, most of the LGBTQs, a lot of Jewish people, Muslims, immigrants, the underclass, a religious left, liberal Catholics and Christians, young unmarried women, the cities, college campuses

There's going to be a right -- religious right/Pat Robertson crowd, the right-wing media enterprise, white men and really white people in general, Trumpists, some in country music because they want to make money and get those Trump voters to buy their CDs, gun enthusiasts, the alt-right, white supremacists and nationalists

Trump will preside over the nastiest, most rotten, dirty four years.  He's a bombastic, misogynistic, over-the-top, zany reality TV show with a huge ego and a very very thin skin.

Among the less negative trends:

- A revival of centrism, particularly among women and young people
- More sexualization of male bodies
- Women becoming more sexually assertive
- LGBTQ "community" has more divisions -- it was never really a "community" to begin with.  Gay white men vs. blacks vs. lesbians vs. feminists vs. trans women - very nasty
- Polarization and partisanship dominating American culture so much to the point it becomes so repulsive....

oops sorry - cancel that "among the more positive trends" -- pretty much everything's going to be lousy
