Soviet Union under Stalin is ranked very moralistically, which is correct. But also worth noting that in a single generation, Stalin turned a nation of illiterate peasants into the biggest muscle in the global anti-fascist revolution, global superpower, and within four and 1/2 years of sending the US into a panic. Sort of like if 30 years from now Nigeria had equal military power to the US and discovered the cure for cancer.

-China did it better, IMHO. Yes, Stalinism had its upsides, but I'm still not ranking it very highly.

I ranked Lenins USSR last because of my personal hatred of Leninism. Lenin forever tainted the ideology of socialism, Marxism and communism. It's because of Lenin and his followers that socialism is viewed negatively all over the world. Leninism is the very reason why every Marxist and Socialist goverment in the modern world has been a dictatorship.

I ranked Lenins USSR last because of my personal hatred of Leninism. Lenin forever tainted the ideology of socialism, Marxism and communism. The intention of what Lenin thought to be the end result of his form of communism, was along marxist lines, Stalin is what made it the dictatorial state (it was under Lenin, but much more so under Stalin), that it is, so even if you dislike Leninism, no leftist should say it worse worse than Tsarist Russia, and the Soviet Union with Stalin (which is the most to blame, for the negative attitudes towards communism).

I reported this comment, not because of personal animosity but because I know there are several posters on Atlas who actually did attempt suicide and cannot handle such comments. As far as I know I have refrained from reporting any of your comments after you made that one thread in The Atlas, because while I dislike you I do appreciate your respect for posters' freedom of speech, but I think this comment crosses the line. I would have reported it if any other poster had said this. This type of comment should not become acceptable on Atlas.
