Democrats who ACTUALLY act like Republicans on fiscal matters don't exist in the way the left thinks they do, but no, a Democratic Party that is not supporting economically egalitarian policies isn't the Democratic Party, period.

     It's a little early to tell, but this is something I have been thinking about. As has been expounded endlessly, Trump's victory has invited comparisons to Brexit. Considering that Labor has sunk into irrelevance under Comrade Corbyn's fearless leadership, I must wonder what this comparison portends for the Democrats.

Labor's problems stem from more than just Corbyn's leadership though. The Democratic Party might be in dire straights now, but they'd be even worse if all of a sudden a New England National Party manifested.
