Hey, good one, I have to admit.

But the good news, we kept crooked Hillary out of the White House and we will control the Supreme Court for a generation.

the SC part is over but i think it would accept the pet projects of republicans to be enshrined for 20 years, if the separation of power and the libera-democratic character of the union prevails.

As I said earlier, I'd rather see an incompetent reactionary in the White House than a competent one.

So, as long as he doesn't do anything really dangerous like having journalists arrested, I'd vote for keeping him there he his.... for now.

Still, seeing him resign or being impeached would certainly be extremely satisfactory.

Never, ever, under any circumstances. He's a competent, theocratic version of Trump.

Same logic as Saddam, awful as he was, being preferable to ISIS.

Good grief, Ruth Bader Ginsburg sleeps during court sessions, during Obama's  State of the Union address, and during the Pope's speech to Congress.  She's 84 in March.

Stephen Breyer is almost 80.

If Trump is impeached, Pence and the entire cabinet should also be impeached.  Pence has been standing right next to Trump and smiling every time he signed an illegal executive order.  I would only allow cabinet members that have expressed their disagreement with Trump's actions (Tillerson for example seems to be ok).

To be fair to RBG, the time she fell asleep at the state of the Union was after she had been drinking a lot over at scalia's dinner party beforehand. 4 glasses of wine would make me sleepy too.

That's bad, but not illegal.  What I meant was the only people in his administration who shouldn't be impeached are those who expressed their disagreement with Trump's illegal actions.  Sessions for example should definitely be impeached because he supported the illegal Muslim ban.

President Paul Ryan isn't really a viable alternative either. Should only be done after the Democrats have retaken the House.

I wonder if Ginsburg becomes too old and tired to carry out her duties, if she would effectively retire but not give up her seat, which would hold since Republicans do not have the votes to remove her.

I mean, as Mitch McConnell has showed us, power is everything and politicians should now do whatever it takes to get it, we might as well play his game at least until he leaves the Senate, no?

That's an excuse?  Good grief.

Ruth, thank you for your service.

Now resign.
