The poll has a total of 14 questions. All questions are not required.

I decided to switch it up after all of the polls focusing on elections and structure.

Anyways, let's do it!

Job Approval of the Representatives poll

So far 17 responses so far. Later on this evening, I'll probably post some preliminary data (while working on my lab report).

BTW, I am closing the poll on January 16 (late @ night ~9:00) and will post the results soon after.

So respond to the poll, otherwise I'll hunt you down. Tongue

Wow, 11 months until the poll closes? You'll have to poll the 10th Congress by that point!

*Gallup releases poll having Trump approval/disapproval at 40/53*
Trumpies: They polled 10% more Democrats than Republicans
Gallup: Yeah, which we, you know, deal with statistically.
Trumpies: Look at this Rasmussen poll that has Trump +/- at 57/43!

That'd work, but our friend OneJ didn't actually deal with it statistically it seems...

This is simple math. There are 18 respondents to your poll, by the looks of it 12 Labors, 4 Feds, 2 Others, and 1 Indy. So in a hypothetical example Mr. Generic L has the support of 11/12 Labors, 1/4 Feds, 0/2 Others, and 0/1 Indies. This small sample size can mess with things (the MoE of Atlasia polls is in the double digits), but you would weight them according to their prevalence in Atlasia. So there are 69 Labors, 48 Feds, 43 others, and 20 Indies. So for an estimate of how an entire population would vote, you would multiply the fraction (11/12) of Labors that approve of Generic L by the total number of Labors (69), and do the same for every demographic group. Then divide what you get by the total number of Atlasians (180) to get a nice decimal. That decimal multiplied by 100 is the percentage of Atlasians who approve of Mr. Generic L. His approval changes from a very skewed 67% to a very fair and balanced 42% approval in this hypothetical scenario.

Thanks! I'll clean it up soon.
