Not very often to we see a social change for the better in Australia. This game was down the road from my girlfriend's house in Perth.

Easily one of the best things to happen in sport in the last 20 years.

The introduction of a national women's football league.

What will be amazing is when we get some African and Aboriginal women into the sport. The advancement of those two groups into the 'mens' game has see some of the most exhilarating talent imaginable into our sport.

The WBBL has been a surprising success. The games are actually quite decent, too.
