My axis of evil influencing Trump was Flynn, Bannon, and Sessions. This is an important step in the right direction.

He should be testifying before Congress by the end of the week.

But that won't happen because the Republicans care more about power than they do about America.

I wonder how many more will have to resign before Trump gets all of his Cabinet in place?

But that won't happen because the Republicans care more about power than they do about America.

I was very wrong when I assumed that the GOP was so divided that Trump would have checks and balances against him from his own party.

Considering how weak and incompetent the Democrats are, and how easily GOPers are brought to heel, you'd think that we were living in a one-party state. Obviously we aren't literally, but still.

Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson and switched to being a proud Independent voter instead of being a Republican. Tongue Tongue Tongue

GOP politicians care about two things:

1. Not getting primaried.

2. Not pissing off their donors.

Their primary voters have gone full Trumpist (just look at his approval ratings among Republicans).

Their donors may not like Trump but they really, really want their tax cuts, so they don't want him questioned either.

Both parties are up hookline and sinker with their donors, but the GOP is more obvious that they suck up to their donors.

I guess, after this, Mike Flynn can take a new job as Putin's NSA.

Sessions does not belong with those monsters. He is an honorable man.
