He should be testifying before Congress by the end of the week.
But that won't happen because the Republicans care more about power than they do about America.
I was very wrong when I assumed that the GOP was so divided that Trump would have checks and balances against him from his own party.
Considering how weak and incompetent the Democrats are, and how easily GOPers are brought to heel, you'd think that we were living in a one-party state. Obviously we aren't literally, but still.
GOP politicians care about two things:
1. Not getting primaried.
2. Not pissing off their donors.
Their primary voters have gone full Trumpist (just look at his approval ratings among Republicans).
Their donors may not like Trump but they really, really want their tax cuts, so they don't want him questioned either.
