I smell trouble coming for Trump that'll lead to his impeachment.

Probably not. Anyway, I'd rather malevolence tempered by incompetence than the more competent malevolence that a Pence administration would involve.

No. This will take years to play out, rather than 4 weeks or even several months. Trump will stabilize in a while and that will keep him above water for a year or so, I think. I think however the other shoe drops and then the real music starts where Trump meets his downfall.

No, it will be an accumulation of scandals that will wreck his administration, this is merely the beginning.

Nope.
Trump will keep the incompetence going. Like he said during the campaign - he has the best stamina.

Isn't that precisely what the question was?

If the Democrats retake the House (or senate I guess). But Congress isn't going to investigate this as long as it's Republican-controlled, and I don't think you can build the critical mass of public pressure to force him out without congressional investigations.

No, but to quote Winston Churchill, Trump is approaching the end of the beginning.

In other words, he squandered this time when he had the good will and political fear of opposing him, on personal ego-trips, vendettas and petty arguments, rather than on pushing key policies on healthcare and trade.

Things will only get more difficult from now on.

Certainly not. He, or one of his cronies will be in power for eight years minimum.

I think Hermit was willing to give Donald a chance in December. So technically, that statement is true.

I would say that if Trump was much younger, there would be a possibility that he could change for the better. And things wouldn't be going downhill so fast.

But we all know that he is not willing to change even a hair on his head unless forced to by law, so there ya go.

We'll see how this all plays out, and there is still a part of me that hopes for the best, at least, that something good comes out of his administration that helps the country somehow.

"Will Trump be president at year-end 2017" is down to 74% on PredictIt. "Will the next president be impeached in the first 100 days?" is at 12%.

"Trump to leave office before the end of his first term" is trading slightly above even odds on Betfair.
