Is God so powerful that He can stand at the equator and throw a baseball so hard and so fast that it circles the world and hits Him on the back of His head?

I believe that not only can God do that, but that it happened and that this explains the difference between the G_d of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament.

There's no proof of God anyways. And in my personal beliefs, I already reject the idea of hell.

Good for you?
The post I was responding to:

"You can't relax some of these doctrines and just expect the rest to hold. "

Huh? Eternal damnation is one of the doctrines that's very much in discussion among Christians. Omnipotence, omniscience and benevolence aren't, and there are reasons for that.

Beer, putting faith and personal stuff aside, the entire reason to believe in a God/higher intelligence/whatever you want to call it is to explain reality.  For the vast majority of people, the Universe creating itself out of nothing isn't a satisfying explanation.  A God that didn't create our physical reality (and therefore not outside of time and space) isn't any more satisfying.

This wouldn't be satisfying?:

Personally I think it is.
