Well in all honesty although he most certainly wasn't perfect, I think Reagan was a pretty good president, but I agree with you that the obsession many Republicans have with Reagan is very unhealthy.

I agree, both Reagen and Trump are way too fawned upon by certain groups. The key difference is that Reagen is dead, so it doesn't do nearly as much harm.

I might actually agree with that, despite not being a conservative at all. I respect him as a person and as a leader and think that he did a lot of good, and some bad too. If you look at the US history and how many Presidents are disqualified immediately, Reagen might make my top 10.
